ONCE UPON A TIME

The #9 Țintea Muzicală focuses on fairy tales - from well-known "Peter and the Wolf" by Sergei Prokofiev to contemporary Princess Butterfly by Ana Bondue.

The celebration of the 100th anniversary of Dinu Lipatti is also at the heart of our festival. In addition to paying tribute to his short life and his compositions, works by his professors like Mihail Jora and Nadia Boulanger will be performed by pianists Andreea Butnaru and Otto Probst and cellist Florin Mitrea.
In the tradition of Țintea Muzicală Festival, seven composers were invited to create new works for voice, piano, percussion and electric bass. Pieces by Adina Dumitrescu, Alexander j. Eberhard, Igor Gross, Dana Cristina Probst, Diana Iulia Simon, Niilo Tarnanen and Sabina Ulubeanu have had their first performance at the festival.
The #9 Țintea Muzicală is happy to welcome well-known musician from Finland, Romania and Austria as Bucharest Winds, the actors Mihai Bisericanu, Ioana Calotă, Alexandru Philippide, percussionist Igor Gross, composer and bassoon player Niilo Tarnanen and composer and electric bass player Sebastian Dumitrescu.
